Come to Jesus

I would like to share the words to a compelling song by Chris Rice.

Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus)

Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live

Now your burden's lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain, so
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live

And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall...so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live

Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, then
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live

O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can't contain your joy inside, then
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live

And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live

Welcome to the "bolgisphere" Micah Noel! I'm looking forward to hearing more about your life as you continue to post your thoughts. I am so impressed with both you and Bryant and your abilities to communicate through writing! You are beautiful, both inside and out. I'm proud of the gentle young lady you are becoming.

I'm afraid I don't have the music, although I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get. I heard it sung just with guitar chords. The music is beautiful also.

Thanks everybody so much for commenting. I love comments!
So glad you found my blog, Aunt Patty.:)

Thank you for the comment on my blog! This is a beautiful song. In fact, 2 years ago I actually choreographed a praise ballet solo to it. I look forward to reading more on your blog!
